Aldurazyme®
Aldurazyme (laronidase-rch) is indicated for the treatment of mucopolysaccharidosis I (MPS I), an often fatal genetic disease that affects approximately 3,000 to 4,000 people worldwide. MPS I causes a buildup of certain complex carbohydrates in the tissues of multiple organs of the body, causing an array of debilitating symptoms. Aldurazyme provides the missing enzyme needed to break down these carbohydrates.
