Thyrogen®
Thyrogen (thyrotropin alfa-rch) is a recombinant form of human thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). It is used in thyroid cancer patients to help in the detection of thyroid cancer remaining after surgery to remove the thyroid. Thyrogen is also used in the ablation of remnant thyroid tissue in combination with radioactive iodine in post-thyroidectomy patients while on their hormone therapy.
